ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal says Pakistan for the first time has changed its policy from geo-political to geo-economic for the development and prosperity in Pakistan.
Addressing a function in Islamabad on Monday, he said in the past Pakistan was forcefully and unnecessarily pushed in wars and conflicts for temporary benefit. The minister said during the last seventy years we remained focused on geo-strategic policies and did not find sustained benefits.
He said however now we have decided to utilize our geographical and strategic position for the economic gains.
